1 Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the Ecomas platform and services. By using Ecomas, you agree to comply with this policy. This AUP is designed to protect the integrity, security, and reliability of the platform for all users.

2 Permitted Use

  • Managing ecommerce customer support workflows, conversations, and ticket resolution.
  • Operating AI-powered chatbots for product inquiries, order support, and customer engagement.
  • Integrating with ecommerce platforms, messaging channels, and business tools for operational purposes.
  • Analyzing support performance, customer satisfaction, and team productivity.
  • Collaborating with team members on customer cases, responses, and business operations.

3 Prohibited Activities

  • Sending unsolicited bulk messages, spam, or unauthorized marketing communications.
  • Engaging in fraud, phishing, identity theft, or impersonating others.
  • Distributing malware, viruses, ransomware, or other harmful code.
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
  • Interfering with platform operations, overloading servers, or exploiting vulnerabilities.
  • Using the platform for illegal activities, money laundering, or sanctions evasion.
  • Harassing, threatening, or intimidating other users or customers.
  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or extracting source code from the platform.

4 Content Standards

  • All content processed through the platform must comply with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Content must not be defamatory, obscene, hateful, discriminatory, or infringing on third-party rights.
  • Customer-facing messages, chatbot responses, and support content must be accurate and not misleading.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of all content you upload, configure, or transmit through the platform.

5 AI Content and Chatbot Usage

  • AI-generated responses must be configured with accurate business data, policies, and approved instructions.
  • Customers must test chatbot behavior before publishing and review AI outputs regularly.
  • AI should not be used to generate misleading, deceptive, or harmful content.
  • Human escalation must be available for sensitive, complex, or high-stakes customer interactions.
  • Customers must comply with applicable AI regulations and disclosure requirements in their jurisdiction.

6 API and Integration Usage

  • API usage must comply with rate limits, authentication requirements, and published documentation.
  • Do not use APIs to scrape, harvest, or mass-extract data beyond the scope of your authorized use.
  • Integrations must be configured with appropriate permissions and security measures.
  • Remove unused or unauthorized integrations promptly.

7 Security Requirements

  • Use strong, unique passwords and enable multi-factor authentication where available.
  • Do not share login credentials or allow unauthorized access to your account or workspace.
  • Report security vulnerabilities, suspicious activity, or potential breaches immediately.
  • Keep your systems, integrations, and connected services updated and secure.

8 Enforcement

  • Ecomas may investigate suspected violations of this AUP at its discretion.
  • Enforcement actions may include warnings, feature restrictions, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination.
  • Severe violations may be reported to law enforcement authorities.
  • Ecomas reserves the right to take immediate action to protect the platform and other users.

9 Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this Acceptable Use Policy, please report it to Ecomas immediately. Include as much detail as possible, including timestamps, affected accounts, and evidence of the violation.

10 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the platform or by email. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
