Refund & Cancellation Policy

How Ecomas handles subscription cancellations, refund requests, plan downgrades, and billing adjustments for all plan types.

1 Overview

Ecomas offers various subscription plans for its SaaS platform. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the terms for cancelling subscriptions, requesting refunds, and managing plan changes. By subscribing to Ecomas, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

2 Free Trial

  • Free trials are available for new users as indicated during signup.
  • You may cancel your free trial at any time before it ends without being charged.
  • If you do not cancel before the trial period ends, your subscription will automatically begin and you will be billed according to your selected plan.
  • Free trials are limited to one per organization or account.

3 Monthly Subscriptions

  • Monthly subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis on the same date each month.
  • You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time through your account dashboard.
  • Upon cancellation, you retain access to the service until the end of your current billing period.
  • No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a monthly billing period.

4 Annual Subscriptions

  • Annual subscriptions are billed upfront for a 12-month period at a discounted rate.
  • You may cancel your annual subscription at any time through your account dashboard.
  • Refunds for annual subscriptions are available within the first 14 days of the initial purchase.
  • After the 14-day refund window, annual subscriptions are non-refundable for the current billing period.
  • Annual subscription renewals are refundable within 7 days of the renewal date.

5 How to Cancel

  • Log in to your Ecomas account and navigate to the Billing or Subscription section.
  • Select "Cancel Subscription" and follow the confirmation steps.
  • You will receive an email confirmation of your cancellation.
  • Alternatively, you can contact our support team at hello@ecomasai.com for assistance.

6 Refund Eligibility

  • First-time annual purchase: Full refund available within 14 days of initial purchase.
  • Annual renewal: Refund available within 7 days of the renewal charge.
  • Monthly subscription: No partial refunds for the current billing period after cancellation.
  • Service issues: Refunds may be issued at Ecomas's discretion for extended service outages or critical platform issues.
  • Billing errors: Full refund for any incorrect or duplicate charges reported within 60 days.

7 Non-Refundable Items

  • Setup fees, onboarding services, and custom configuration charges.
  • Overage charges for usage beyond plan limits (API calls, storage, conversations, etc.).
  • Third-party service costs incurred through integrations.
  • Monthly subscription fees for the current billing period after cancellation.
  • Subscriptions purchased through third-party resellers or partners (subject to their refund policies).

8 How to Request a Refund

  • Contact our support team at hello@ecomasai.com with your account details and reason for the refund request.
  • Include your account email, subscription plan, payment date, and transaction ID if available.
  • Refund requests are typically reviewed within 3-5 business days.
  • Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method.

9 Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days.
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
  • Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
  • You will receive an email confirmation when a refund has been processed.

10 Plan Downgrades

  • You may downgrade your plan at any time through your account dashboard.
  • Downgrade changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
  • No refunds or credits are provided for the difference between plan prices during the current billing period.
  • Features and limits will adjust to match the new plan at the start of the next billing period.

11 Termination by Ecomas

  • Ecomas may suspend or terminate your account for violation of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.
  • In cases of termination for cause, no refund will be provided.
  • Ecomas may terminate the service with 30 days notice, in which case a prorated refund will be provided.
  • Upon termination, data export options will be available for a limited period as described in our Terms of Service.

12 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the platform or by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Changes will not affect refund eligibility for purchases made before the policy change.
